She is the Vice-director of the Centre for Australian and Transnational Studies at the University of Barcelona and a member of the research group Ratnakara: Literatures and Cultures of the Indian Ocean.&nbsp;Editor of the journal&nbsp;<em>Blue Gum<\/em>&nbsp;and deputy editor of&nbsp;<em>Indialogs, Spanish Journal of India Studies<\/em>, she has authored some&nbsp;50 articles and book chapters and translated poetry from various postcolonial authors.&nbsp;In 2021 she authored the poetry collection&nbsp;<em>Elogio de la tabla de surf y otros poemas desde el c\u00e1ncer de mama&nbsp;<\/em>(<em>Praise of the Surfboard and other Poems from Breast Cancer<\/em>)<em>.<\/em>&nbsp;She has been a&nbsp;Visiting&nbsp;Researcher at the Partnership Studies Group (University of Udine) between March 1 and April 4, 2022,&nbsp;working on the project &#8220;<strong>Partnership, Care, Conviviality: Social Function of Poetry in the Post-pandemia<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Isabel&#8217;s experience: &#8220;Thank you for a warm welcome and for making me feel at home.
